bullet The Denver Teach Today program (DTT) is an initiative of Denver Public Schools to recruit, train, and support outstanding candidates to become teachers primarily in the subject areas of Secondary Math (6-12), Special Education (K-12), and Elementary Bilingual Education in Spanish/ELA-S (K-5).  DTT is a rigorous alternative route to licensure, based upon an intensive summer training program.

Why Join Denver Teach Today?

Denver Public Schools (DPS) is the fastest growing urban school district in the nation, hiring roughly 500 teachers annually.  We understand that teachers make the difference.  DPS is on the leading edge of education reform across the country with efforts such as the LEAP framework for effective teaching, implementation of Common Core state standards, and teacher leadership development.

We offer divergent career paths and experiences, allowing people to come to education at different points in their lives.  This enhances the educational experience for students by incorporating teachers’ life learning.  DTT will prepare you to be a different kind of teacher, truly making a positive impact on Denver’s youth.
